Muhammad Ikhsan Misbahuddin is using a Community College Initiative (CCI) Program grant to study early childhood education (ECE) at Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria with a specialization in ECE development and special education. He has worked as a teacher at EF English First, Pontianak, West Kalimantan.  Muhammad earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature at Sekolah Tinggi Bahasa Asing LIA, Yogyakarta.
