Novia Ayu Lestari uses her Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a master’s in mass communications in the professional communication track at the University of Florida. She wants to learn how to engage with a mass audience while presenting credible news and improving the applicability and functionality of communications through the different mediums available. She was a news anchor and news reporter at TVRI Jambi before entering the hospitality industry in Bali.

She earned her bachelor’s in English education from Universitas Jambi.
