Nurmalia Mauludin Adroli is studying marine resources management at Oregon State University-Corvallis.
She is an environmental manager at PT Timah, a state-owned mining enterprise in Pangkalpinang, Bangka-Belitung.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in geography from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.
Her main interest is natural resource management, and she wants to look at the long-term impact of uncontrolled and massive mining on the environment, the inadequacy of current environmental mining policies, and the mismanagement of natural resources, especially in offshore mining.
