For his graduate degree, Ongky Andriawan is studying advertising and public relations at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, focusing on media and strategic communication to support his region branding of place and city for tourism purposes.

He is an assistant lecturer at Communication Department, Universitas Andalas, Padang, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in communication science.
