Payton Storey, a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA), co-teaches English at SMAN 3 Kota Jambi, Jambi.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and biblical studies and a master’s degree in TESOL from Colorado Christian University. His interest in intercultural education developed while teaching English in Uzbekistan, where he collaborated closely with local teachers and students.

In Jambi, Payton hopes to connect with his host community through literature, poetry, and baking, while supporting English learning and cross-cultural exchange in the classroom and beyond.
