Pungki Lupiyaningdyah undertakes her PhD program in biology at Brigham Young University. Her research focus is on dragonflies and damselflies (order Odonata). She is eager to track the diversity, distribution, and ecology of Indonesian dragonflies and the phylogeny of a particular family (euphaeidae) of them, to find out the evolutionary process in Indonesia and other biogeographic regions.
Pungky is a researcher at the Zoology Division, Museum Zoologium Bogoriense (MZB), Research Center for Biology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) in Cibinong, West Java.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Padjadjaran University, and a master’s in biology from Leiden University.
