Rahmah Bakoko, originally from Parepare, in South Sulawesi, is studying for a master’s degree at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in comparative and international education, focusing on globalization and educational change.
A staff of the Language Center of the Institute for Islamic Education (STAIN) in Parepare, where she taught TOEFL preparation classes, she hopes her graduate study will be useful for establishing an international office at STAIN to encourage others to prepare themselves for study abroad.
