Rana Farrasati is in a master’s degree program in agronomy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is studying the underground communication between rhizosphere, soil enzyme, soil organic carbon, and their relation to nutrient dynamics and availability in different abiotic stress conditions.

Rana is a research scientist at the Indonesian Oil Palm Research Institute (IOPRI), a national oil palm research think-tank in Medan, North Sumatra.

She has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, specializing in soil science, from Universitas Brawijaya.
