Rangga Ardia Rasyid is a research assistant at the Bank Indonesia Institute in Jakarta. With his Fulbright scholarship, he is pursuing a master’s in Southeast Asian studies at the University of Washington, specializing in the history of Southeast Asia. He hopes to gain a more transnational perspective on eastern Indonesia and better understand the region’s modern-day challenges.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
