As a Community College Initiative (CCI) participant, Rara Gandewa Ranjiwa is studying media at Houston Community College.

She is a lead illustrator at PT Ruang Raya Indonesia, Jakarta. She graduated from a vocational high school in Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
