Riana Murianty is a lecturer in English teaching at Universitas Papua in Manokwari, West Papua. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English teaching from IKIP PGI Semarang and a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Saint Michael’s College, Vermont, supported by a USAID scholarship.

As a Fulbright Doctoral Degree Scholarship recipient, she is completing a PhD in teaching and learning at Ohio State University, with a focus on curriculum, instruction, and teacher education.
