Rika Mardiana is a doctoral student in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education at Ohio State University. Using her doctorate, she hopes to widen girls’ and women’s participation and engagement in STEM-related majors and careers in Indonesia.

Rika is a science pedagogy leader at Ruangguru, an education technology startup in Jakarta. She earned her bachelor’s in physics education from Universitas Riau and a master’s in science education from University College London.
