Riley recently graduated from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with her license to teach 5th-12th grade and a double degree in English and Secondary Education. Her inspiration to teach comes from her mother, who is also a teacher. Between her mother’s inspiration and her love of travel, she applied for a Fulbright in Indonesia. Riley’s passion for teaching stems from her desire to give students the power of education. She believes that everyone is deserving of that power. In addition, she is excited to continue her own education of the world and new cultures during her time in Indonesia.
For her Fulbright ETA program, Riley will be placed at East Kalimantan where she will co-teach at SMAN 10 Samarinda.
