For her Fulbright Doctoral Degree Scholarship, Risa Haridza is studying STEM education at Ohio State University. Her research interest is in the high order thinking skills of science teachers as opposed to the rote learning approach common in Indonesia.

She is a teacher in State Junior Highschool 3 Pontianak as well as a teacher trainer for the Department of Education in Pontianak. As a teacher trainer, she will be in a good position to apply the results of her research and education when she returns.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in physics education from Malang State University and her masters from Ohio State University.
