Risfi Tirta Pratiwi is a Fulbright Master’s Degree Scholarship recipient pursuing teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

She is a part-time English instructor at Politeknik Negeri Sambas and a remote freelance English tutor at BANSA Foundation in Pontianak, both in West Kalimantan. After completing the program, she plans to return to her institution and implement her knowledge in TESOL.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in English language education from IKIP PGRI Pontianak. She received the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program scholarship to study English education for one semester at Kent State University.
