From March through August 2019, Ron has the privilege of teaching entrepreneurship and leadership courses at the Politeknik Negeri Manado as part of the Fulbright US Scholar Program. He appreciates the student-focused culture at the Politeknik, and the sincere desire to develop a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem throughout the community – an observation based on his 2017 visit to Manado.
Ron is a professor and director of the Entrepreneurship Program at Jackson College in Michigan. He holds a master’s degrees in business administration and education, both from the University of Michigan, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University. Ron serves as a guest lecturer at colleges and businesses throughout the world. He loves working with entrepreneurs, helping them identify market needs and develop their businesses. His most recent focus is international entrepreneurship, having launched a course in International Business during the Fall 2018 semester.
Prior to entering the teaching profession in 2003, Ron co-founded several businesses, including University Consulting Group, Inc., Trade Links International, Inc., and Ann Arbor Machine Company.
