Rully Agus Hendrawan is working for a PhD in information science at the University of Pittsburgh. He wants to explore recommender systems as the core of the digital business. Recommender systems are crucial in helping businesses grow and guide customers to discover their preferences while exploring multiple choices.

Rully is a lecturer at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in informatics. He earned his master’s in information science and engineering from Ritsumeikan University, Japan.
