
Sherri Harvey serves as a Fulbright Specialist at the University of Halu Oleo in Kendari from October 4 to November 2, 2025. She collaborates with the English Literature Study Program at the Department of Language and Literature on a short-term project focused on enhancing the English literature curriculum through the integration of current technology and strengthening academic writing skills among the faculty.
Sherri is a senior lecturer at San José State University, an Adobe Ambassador, a Fulbright Specialist, and a recipient of an Adobe International Education Innovation Council (AIEIC) grant. Her teaching and research interests include digital literacy, AI integration, sustainability, and global citizenship. Her work bridges the classroom and the world, drawing on her background in photography and visual essays to explore stories of globalization and environmental justice. Whether developing innovative curricula, mentoring faculty internationally, or publishing research and creative projects, she aims to equip students with the critical, digital, and ethical tools they need to engage meaningfully with today’s global challenges.
