Siradj Okta is studying for a PhD in law at the University of Washington in Seattle. He hopes to conduct research on HIV-related criminalization and wants to influence AIDS policies in his own country and beyond. He holds a master’s-level degree in international law on human rights and criminal justice from Utrecht University in The Netherlands (2008). He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Atma Jaya Catholic University, Jakarta,  Indonesia.
