Stefanus Urbanus Rafael, or Stefan or “Plasticman,” is currently pursuing his study in business and leadership at Scottsdale Community College. He is inspired to take that field of study because he wants to preserve nature for the next generation in and around the terrestrial and marine of Komodo National Park through education and community initiatives on sustainable ecotourism business free of plastic waste.

Previously, he learned biology at SMAK Syradikara Ende and a diploma degree in accounting at Dr. Moecthar Talib Academy Jakarta.

He is currently a conservation and a marine English teacher at SMK Stella Maris Labuan Bajo – Komodo, Manggarai Barat, Flores, Indonesia and manage an eco home stay in Labuan Bajo.
