Syarifah Ismailiyah Al Athas is pursuing a doctoral degree in architecture at the University of Florida, focusing on Algorithm-Aided Design – Building Information Modeling (CAAD – BIM) for Sustainability to envision a better-built environment.

She is a lecturer and head of architectural modeling and urbanism at the Department of Architecture, Universitas Islam Indonesia, in Sleman, Yogyakarta. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s in architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
