Tineer is placed at SMAN 3 Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan, to co-teach English as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA).

After graduating from Johns Hopkins University, Tineer earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical & biomolecular engineering with a minor in entrepreneurship & management. At Hopkins, she actively promoted equity and opportunities through collaborative events with the Committee of Diversity & Inclusion. As part of her community engagement, she initiated a book club for civil discourse, a project she plans to continue in Indonesia.

Beyond teaching and mentoring, Tineer aims to learn traditional batik techniques and create unique designs to connect with local traditions.
