Tyas Tri Pujiastuti is doing a master’s degree program in atmospheric sciences at the North Carolina State University. Her study is related to the atmosphere circulation’s influence on the ocean’s state and its feedback on the atmosphere.

Tyas is a staff at the remote sensing division in Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) in Jakarta.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in applied meteorology from Sekolah Tinggi Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika.
