On November 19, during the US Department of State’s International Education Week, ETA Manav Rungta co-hosted an inspiring event at the American Corner Semarang in Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo. This global initiative celebrates the benefits of international education, and Manav’s contributions highlighted opportunities for Indonesian students to study in the United States.
In his hour-long lecture, Manav shared his educational journey and offered insights into master’s and PhD opportunities in the US. He provided a detailed overview of the application process, scholarship options, and pathways to academic success abroad, using real-life examples to make the information relatable and actionable. His well-rounded presentation covered key aspects of studying in the US, sparking great interest among the attendees.
Following the lecture, Manav spent significant time engaging with students, answering their questions, and offering tailored advice for individual situations. He also provided one-on-one guidance to students interested in scholarship applications and further educational planning, continuing to stay in touch with them to offer ongoing support.
The event, which lasted two-three hours, was highly appreciated by the college students, who found both the lecture and personalized interactions valuable and motivating. Manav’s efforts made the event a resounding success, fostering excitement about international education opportunities.
