Wayan Karang Yana is pursuing a doctoral degree in language, literacy, and technology at Washington State University – Pullman. His research focus will be on the use of Android mobile phone applications in foreign language learning.

Wayan Karang is a lecturer and internal auditor of quality assurance at Bandar Lampung University, Lampung, Sumatra from which he earned his bachelor’s degree in English teaching. He holds a master’s in the same field of study from Coventry University, UK.
