Yanti is now pursuing her study in Global Health at University of South Florida. Due to her profound interest in community development and empowerment, she hopes to enable more vulnerable population to achieve better health.

Yanti Leosari earned her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Prior to her Fulbright award, she was a research assistant for a project that seeks to know the implementation of Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) in primary health care and before that,  project coordinator at World Vision Indonesia in Sekadau, West Kalimantan.
