Yasmine Anabel Pandjaitan is pursuing her doctoral degree in education at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She would like to investigate the implementation of digital literacy and classroom teaching. The role of linguistics in interdisciplinary research can provide, she feels, a more comprehensive way of analyzing the complexity of digital literacy implementation in classrooms.

Yasmine is a lecturer in the English Studies Program at Universitas Indonesia, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in English literature and master’s degree in linguistics.
