Yulianus Howay is using a CCIP grant to study journalism for one year at  Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale, Arizona. He has been working as a journalist since 2007 at Harian Bintang Papua, a daily newspaper. He has gone on to work with other Papuan news outlets.
