Yunizar Adiputera pursues a PhD in political science at the University of Florida. He intends to focus on arms control and disarmament diplomacy using the nexus of a humanitarian-security approach, which, as he sees it, is currently sorely lacking.

He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in international relations from Gadjah Mada University, where he is also a lecturer.
