Natasha Yen is a recent graduate from Pitzer College with honors in Sociology and Environmental Analysis. She is dedicated to community-centered work with historically under-resourced communities, focusing on capacity building and resilience.

She has been awarded a Fulbright Research Grant to study how urban development in Indonesia is reshaping street food communities. Her research, based in Bandung and Jakarta, investigates how food vendors navigate modernization initiatives and state-led development agendas. In collaboration with Institut Teknologi Bandung and community-centered research organizations, Natasha will conduct ethnographic research to document vendor experiences, community strategies, and the role of social infrastructure in sustaining livelihoods.
