Dr. Mahditia Paramita, is the founder and chief executive officer of Caritra Indonesia, a social enterprise and research organization based in Yogyakarta, focusing on sustainable urban development and housing policy. She earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Universitas Gadjah Mada, a master’s degree in human settlements from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, and a doctoral degree in policy studies from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, she conducts research in public policy analysis at the University of Colorado Boulder to improve urban park governance in Indonesia, advancing ecological and social sustainability. She believes this research can help strengthen ecological monitoring, encourage public participation, and support more inclusive governance practices.
