Dr. Fransiska Widyawati is undertaking research on interreligious studies at Hartford International University. Her research focuses on the views and attitudes of students in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, towards interfaith friendship, courtship, and marriage. The study can be a lens to understand how students recognize their religious identity and moral boundaries in inter-religious relations and learn more about educational models in Indonesia.

Dr. Fransiska is a vice chancellor at Universitas Katolik Indonesia Santu Paulus Ruteng, Flores. She earned a bachelor’s degree in theology education from Saint Paul Teaching College, a master’s in contextual theology from Universitas Sanata Dharma, and a PhD in inter-religious and cultural studies from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
