
Ahmad Munjizun is pursuing a doctorate degree in animal science at North Carolina State University. His research interest is on how vitamin K contributes to bone health in horses, inspired by the rising interest in the benefits of using vitamin K to treat osteoporosis in humans.
Ahmad works at a private training center Mataram, Lombok where he as a motivator in motivation seminars, and helps run a family horse farm.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Mataram University and, with Indonesia Endowment Fund for Educational scholarship, a master’s degree from the University of Queensland, both degrees in animal science.
Upon completion of his doctoral degree, he intends to return to Indonesia to develop equine science.
