Alberth Nahas is pursuing a PhD in atmospheric science at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. He is a 2007 bachelor’s graduate in chemistry from Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin, and earned a master’s degree in environmental management & development (climate change) from the Australian National University in 2014.

He is a research scientist at the Global Atmosphere Watch Observatory in Bukit Kototabang, as part of the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG). He wishes to carry out research on climate change and air quality.
