Alexandra graduated from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2012 with a dual degree in Television, Radio, Film and Religion. After graduating, Alexandra joined Teach For America in New York City. For 4 years she taught a range of subjects, including English, and developed STEM programming in Harlem and Brooklyn.

Indonesia’s cultural diversity reflected in its motto “Unity in Diversity” is a source of inspiration for her approach to teaching. Alexandra looks forward to connecting with the Indonesian community she’ll soon call home.

For her Fulbright ETA program, Alexandra will be placed at East Java where she will co-teach at SMKN 9 Malang.
