
Anastasia Maurina is undertaking graduate work for a PhD in planning, design, and the built environment at Clemson University. Her main interest is in deployable structures, to provide easy-and-quick shelters particularly in post-disaster conditions which often occur in remote areas.
She is a lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung from which she obtained her bachelor’s and masters in architecture.
Her goal is to establish a research center related to sustainable materials. As co-founder of Architecture Sans Frontieres Indonesia, an international independent network of not-for-profit design organizations, she will dedicate herself to help vulnerable and marginalized communities.
