Andrew graduated from Emory University last year with a double major in History and Environmental Science. While in college, he taught English to a refugee family in Atlanta and came to love the process of teaching English while learning about another culture and sharing his own. In college Andrew sang in an all-male group, No Strings Attached. He hopes to start an a cappella group at his school to encourage English learning and cultural exchange. Andrew is sad to end his (moderately) famous New York City ice cream tours, but incredibly excited to be teaching in Indonesia.
Upon returning to the United States, Andrew will attend Columbia law school to pursue a career in environmental law.
For his Fulbright ETA program, Andrew will be placed at East Nusa Tenggara where he will co-teach at SMK Stella Maris Labuan Bajo.
