Anna Poerbonegoro is enrolled in the PhD program in economics at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.

She studied for a master’s degree in economics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she was also an East-West Center fellow. Her field of specialization is public and regional economics, focusing on community issues.

Upon graduating she will return to her home institution at Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung, where she is a permanent lecturer.
