With his Fulbright DAI grant, Arfi Syahbandi learns the teacher program in English at Arizona State University. He is eager to improve his teaching skills, particularly in implementing ICT in English teaching and providing effective online learning.

Arif is an English teacher and vice-principal of academic affairs at SMA Negeri 3 Teluk Keramat, Sambas, Kalimantan.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Universitas Tanjungpura in English teaching.

Upon his return, he will implement his knowledge and share his Fulbright DAI experience with his colleagues through discussion, workshops in his school, and hopes to develop a project with his local English teachers’ community.
