Banguning Asgha is undertaking a PhD in agricultural economics at Washington State University. His research interests are on consumer behavior towards food products and food marketing.

Banguning is a lecturer at Agung Podomoro University,  West Jakarta. He earned his bachelor’s degree in fisheries from Gadjah Mada University and his master’s in international food business and consumer studies from the University of Kassel, Germany.
