Budianastas Prastyatama is studying architecture at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.  His main interest is in sustainable materials and transformable structural systems.  He hopes that his doctoral research results can later be applied to national efforts in housing for the poor.

Budianastas is a lecturer at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung where he studied architecture and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
