Desi is pursuing STEM education for a PhD at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
She wants to develop a guided problem-based learning program in chemistry education and measure its impact on students’ higher-order thinking skills and teachers’ practical knowledge.
She is a lecturer at Sriwijaya University, Palembang, South Sumatra where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in chemistry education and master’s in petrochemical technology.
