With his Fulbright award, Brian Christian is pursuing a master’s in urban planning policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He wants to study urban sustainability strategy, urban financing, and policy management to ensure that urban projects are well-planned, effectively developed, and continuously managed for the better future of Indonesia’s built environment.

Brian is a senior analyst at JLL Inc., a property consulting firm in Jakarta.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in city and regional planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
