Catherine graduated in 2017 from Beloit College in Wisconsin with a degree in International Political Economy and a minor in Anthropology. Prior to her Fulbright grant acceptance, Catherine worked in the market research field. She is fluent in Polish, Spanish and English and is looking forward to gaining fluency in Bahasa Indonesia. In addition to languages, Catherine hopes to share in her love of music and nature with her local host community while learning about the various ways in which communities create art.

After completion of her grant period, she hopes to continue developing her analytical and cross-cultural skills professionally as well as continue her education.

For her Fulbright ETA program, Catherine will be placed at East Java where she will co-teach at MAN 1 Malang (Gondanglegi).
