Fulbright US Scholar Dr. Andrew Henderson is collaborating with Universitas Tadulako, Palu for a research project “Systematics and Conservations of the Rattans of Sulawesi.” Through his research, he plans to collect various rattan samples from various National Park in Sulawesi. In the end, Andrew, a researcher from New York Botanical Garden, hopes to use his collection and existing local rattan collections to produce a field guide of rattan in Sulawesi and to complete his Calamus monograph.

Grant completed in April 2018.
