Dr. Arenst Andreas Arie is an associate professor in chemical engineering at Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Bandung.
He earned his first bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from that university and a second one in mathematics from Institut Teknologi Bandung. He then did a master’s in engineering mathematics from the University of Twente in the Netherlands and a PhD in energy and power conversion engineering at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology.
He is researching chemical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology – “Electrochemical properties of carbon-coated TiO2 anodes for sodium-ion batteries.” He is interested in the latest research on rechargeable batteries in the U.S.
