At Duke University, Dr Bayu Andalas’s research is “Using a comparative study of Building Carbon Emission between Jakarta and Boston to build a roadmap for Jakarta City Resilience and Net-Zero Emission in 2050: Learning from BERDO (Building Energy Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance).” He thinks the comparative information he gains from BERDO can be helpful in Jakarta.
Dr Bayu is the head of equipment and gubernatorial affairs in the Bureau of General Affairs and Administration of Regional Secretary, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, a master’s degree in business administration from Asia University Taiwan, and a PhD in environmental science from Universitas Indonesia.
