Dr. Debbie Affianty is a lecturer in political science at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, South Tangerang. She earned her bachelor’s degree in international relations from Universitas Padjadjaran, a master’s degree in political science from Universitas Indonesia, and a doctoral degree in international relations from Universitas Padjadjaran.
As a Fulbright Visiting Scholar, she conducts research in peace and conflict resolution, particularly on the Local Leadership and the Sustainability of Post-Conflict Peace in Indonesia: Lessons from Aceh, Central Sulawesi, and Maluku. She plans to disseminate her findings through academic publications, policy dialogues, and teaching materials, contributing to stronger peace and security governance in Indonesia.
