At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr Delik Hudalah is researching “Urban corridorization as a spatial fix: Comparing Java’s North Coast and Indonesia’s new capital city.” He has initiated a research partnership with two MIT professors with global experiences in new capital city design and international development. Upon completing his Fulbright grant, he intends to build an ITB-MIT research alliance to actively advocate for the Indonesian government in building a sustainable capital city region and developing national urban policy.
Dr Delik is a lecturer at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where he graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in urban and regional planning. He holds a PhD in environmental and infrastructure planning and spatial sciences from the University of Groningen, Netherlands.
