Dr. Jeffrey Fergus is a Fulbright Specialist at Universitas Indonesia from December 15 through 29, 2022. The program aims to support curriculum development related to outcome-based approaches and incorporate experiential learning in mechanical engineering and other engineering disciplines. The activities include workshops with faculty members on the design of outcome-based curricula, outcome assessment, teaching-learning methods, and experiential learning.

Dr Fergus is associate dean for undergraduate studies and professor of materials engineering at the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. He has been involved in the accreditation of engineering programs through ABET as a program evaluator and team chair on evaluation teams, and he served as chair of the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET in 2019-20. He is a lead facilitator for the Program Evaluator Candidate Training and chair of the Accreditation Council Training Committee.
